Since 1969, located in Crandon Park, Key Biscayne, FL, the Marjory Stoneman Douglas Biscayne Nature Center has been reaching thousands of children and adults each year with environmental education programs. Overlooking the dunes and ocean, the Biscayne Nature Center is a beautiful facility on the north end of Crandon Park on Key Biscayne. In this pristine setting, our multifunctional Center serves

our visitors with a reception area, exhibit space, gift shop, an audio visual presentation room and demonstration lab classroom facilities. And right outside our doors, we are fortunate to have Mother Nature's spectacular classroom, which we proudly care for and share with our visitors. is a not-for-profit Florida corporation whose interest is in the conservation of our local irreplaceable natural resources.

From the families who joined in the fun, to the volunteers who gave their time, to our partners, vendors, and performers who brought the energy—you made this event an incredible success.

A beautiful afternoon in honor of a true Florida icon 🌿✨

This weekend, over 65 incredible women gathered to toast the life and legacy of Marjory Stoneman Douglas at our Marjory Tea—celebrating her enduring impact and the mission of the Biscayne Nature Center

We were especially honored to collaborate with the historic Miami Woman’s Club—the oldest women’s club in the city—bringing together community, conservation, and legacy in such a meaningful way.

The April celebrations continue…
Join us next week for the opening of Jacqueline Roch’s new show, Botanical Breeze , and the following week for EarthFest as we keep honoring Marjory and the natural world she fought so fiercely to protect.
