The Klamath County Library continues to celebrate the 250th anniversary of the United States! Our book club is going back to where it all began. We're reading 1776 by David McCullough, a fascinating look at the pivotal year when the American Revolution hung in the balance.
This book club discussion will be co-hosted by the Klamath County Museum, bringing together stories from the page and perspectives from our local history community.
Head on over to the Klamath County Library's downtown branch and borrow a copy from the reference desk!

Want to do something fantastic today? We have an idea – become a member of Friends of the Klamath County Library (a financial and mission support group for Klamath County Library).

We know – you’re busy, you’ve no time for another obligation, and your schedule is already totally full. But wait! Becoming a member of the Friends requires nothing of you except an annual $10 membership – no meetings, no time commitment, no responsibilities (unless you care to participate in that manner). What such a membership means is that you champion the Klamath Library and want to see it flourish – that’s it! Your membership tells the Klamath community that this library is important and you’re invested in it.

Join today by visiting http://klamathlibrary.org/friends and clicking on “Join or renew your membership today”.

Happy National Dog Day! Whether you're bringing home a new puppy, working on training, looking for advice on dog behavior, or simply want to learn more about your best friend, our pet training and pet care collection has plenty of books to check out.

So this National Dog Day, give your pup an extra belly rub—and stop by the library to check out a book for both of you!

P.S. We love your furry friends, but please leave the pups at home while you visit us—unless they're a service animal.
