TONIGHT at 5:00 PM at the downtown branch!

Join us for a special Community-Led Storytime featuring Jesse St. John, Assistant Chief of Fire Prevention at Kingsley Field! Children and their families will enjoy stories, learn about fire safety, and meet a real-life community hero.

This is a wonderful opportunity for young readers to connect with the people who serve our community while sharing a love of books and learning.

Pecky Sue has gone historical!

Our museum chicken has been hard at work studying local history, though we're not entirely sure she's reading the exhibit signs and not just looking for snacks.

You can find Pecky Sue as part of our Find the Flock summer adventure!

Pick up a Find the Flock sheet at your local library branch and start your search for all 24 chickens hidden throughout the community!

When you find Pecky Sue, don't forget to get your sheet stamped and collect a raffle ticket for a chance to win her at the end of the summer.

Happy Hunting!

FLOCK ALERT! The chickens have left the nest!

Over the past few days, our flock has been traveling far and wide—some have settled into Klamath County library branches, while others have found new homes with community partners. Now it's your turn to find them!

Sign up for Summer Reading and pick up a Find the Flock sheet at your local library branch and spend the summer searching for all 24 hidden chickens at:

10 library branches
14 community partner locations

All participating locations are listed in the photo below. Every chicken you find gives you a chance to win that chicken in a raffle drawing.

The hunt runs through August 31, so gather your family, explore your community, and see how many members of the flock you can find.

Happy hunting! Please contact your local branch for more information.
