Friendly reminder that being a Foster Parent can be both rewarding and challenging. With that being said, remember to practice self-care and show up for yourself as well! Below are some great ways for you all to practice self-care! Don't forget to fill up your cup! ✨🌷

Foster parenting takes a village, and that includes taking care of you. 💛 Here are some ways you can practice self-care!

🫶 Lean on others who get it: fellow foster parents, support groups, your people!
🌿 Utilize respite care: it's there so you can recharge!
✨ Pour into your own cup: rest, hobbies, quiet moments all count!
🎨 Try something new just for you: a class, a recipe, a walk somewhere different!

You're showing up for these kids every day. Don't forget to show up for yourself too. 🤍
