Back to school? More like back to empowerment! 🤯 Don't forget: Focus on the fundamentals (nourishment for you, breakfast for them), Stay ahead of the curve on health and wellness (a healthy kid is a happy kid), Inspire the mini-humans to spread kindness, empathy, and compassion (the world needs it!), Prioritize their mental wellbeing (and your own, because you matter too), and Plan for balance in screen time (so you can thrive together)!

Did you know that the Office on Aging at CAC has programs that help benefit the aging population by helping their pets? The Feed-a-Pet program was put in place because seniors were giving their food to their pets and would go without eating.

We are still facing difficulties with this issue due to rising costs. This is difficult on the aging population in Knox County who may only have their animals for support.

We do have a wish list page on Chewy.com and Amazon.com that shows the approved items we are allowed to accept. You can also make monthly or one time monetary donations also.

If you decide to make a monetary donation, 100 percent of the proceeds are applied towards the Feed-a-Pet program.
Big or small, all approved items or money received is greatly appreciated!

It is Back to School time again! As we start our new school year, this is also Drug Overdose Awareness Month.
Remind your teens it is important who they keep in their friend circle because peer pressure is strong. Spending their time doing positive activities will help keep them healthy and happy. Also, there is a lot of power in the word "NO"!
