We are ready at the O'Connor Senior Center to see all the cute pets! Bring your pets to our HOWL-O-WEEN pet costume contest and parade. The event is Friday October 23rd from 11am-1pm. We will have exclusive prizes for award-winners, pet-friendly vendors, a photo booth and some spooky fun!
You know the HOWL-O-WEEN event will not be as cute if you don't bring your pets!
We look forward to seeing you and your fur babies 🐾🐾🐾

You can become a classroom grandparent with AmeriCorps Seniors Foster Grandparent Program.
If you are interested in providing emotional support, can give love and hugs, mentor and tutor students, volunteer in schools, afterschool, and day care centers.

9/11 Day of Service: 25 Years of Remembrance
On September 11, CAC AmeriCorps Seniors welcomed more than 200 people to the Ross Building for a special Day of Service honoring the 25th anniversary of 9/11.
The event brought together volunteers, community vendors, and CAC programs and departments, along with three guest speakers: Kim Hansard, 102.1 radio personality; Jeremy Bond, retired Airman First Class who was deployed to active-duty following 9/11; and Greg Roberts, retired Tennessee Highway Patrol.
Captain Stephen Wickizer, a member of the U.S. Army Medical Readiness Command, was also on hand to share his personal experience with attendees. He was sent to the World Trade Center site on September 12, 2001, where he spent 45 days at Ground Zero.
Our sincere thanks to our speakers, Captain Wickizer, volunteers, partners, staff, and everyone who joined us for this meaningful day of remembrance and service. ❤️🤍💙

The luncheon is Friday, September 25, 2026, from 11:30am-1:30pm at the O'Connor Senior Center located at 611 Winona St.
