Tech. Sgt. Tia M. Estrada-Jerin, Foxtrot Flight Leader for NCOA Class 26-F, was awarded the First Sergeant Diamond Sharp Award for exceptional leadership and dedicated wingman support.

Throughout the course, Estrada-Jerin consistently went above and beyond for her peers, providing critical support during medical emergenciesā€”including urgent care and emergency room transportationā€”and swiftly alerting the First Sergeant to dormitory HVAC facility issues to ensure the health, safety, and well-being of her fellow students.

Today, NCOA and ALS students narrated the events of Sept. 11, 2001, as we remembered those whose lives were forever changed that day.

Following retreat, as students and staff gathered at the flagpole Chaplain Carroll shared words about remembrance and honor before pausing for a moment of silence, and reflection.

We remember their courage, their sacrifice and the enduring spirit of those who came together in the face of tragedy.

We will never forget.

Last week, Maj. Gen. Troy D. Havener, commander of the Air National Guard Readiness Center, visited the TEC.

During his visit, he joined NCOA students for PT and recognized Tech. Sgt. Tyler Findley, Class 26-F, Alpha Flight, for leading group physical training. He also met with TEC-U members to discuss new initiatives and recognized Master Sgt. Amber Patton for her nomination as an Air Education and Training Command Educator of the Year.

Four members of NCOA Class 26-F earned a 100% on their Fitness Assessments.

SMSgt Threlkeld, TEC First Sgt., presented each with the Diamond Sharp Award, recognizing excellence and those who go above and beyond foundational competencies.
