IMPORTANT POST-ELECTION INFORMATION
With the unofficial cumulative and precinct vote totals from the August 6, 2026 Knox County elections posted to www.knoxvotes.org, the Election Commission wants to inform the public of its post-election activities:
PROVISIONAL BALLOT COUNTING BOARD
Tuesday, August 11, 2026 at 9 am
Election Commission west office
109 Lovell Heights Road
The Provisional Ballot Counting Board will meet to consider twenty-nine (29) provisional ballots cast in the August 6 election.
POST-ELECTION AUDIT
Wednesday, August 12, 2026 at 9 am

The Election Commission will conduct its required post-election tabulation audit - per TCA 2-20-103 - of five (5) election day precincts and one (1) early voting location. The precincts and early voting location chosen randomly by the Election Commission at its 8:45 pm meeting on August 6 are:
1. Precinct 18 – Lincoln Park Center
2. Precinct 59 – Brickey Elementary
3. Precinct 66NE – Farragut Middle School
4. Precinct 66NW – Farragut Middle School
5. Precinct 80 – Corryton Community Center
6. Early Voting – Gibbs Ruritan Club
