Time for another Throwback Thursday from the LPL Archive. This week’s selection from the March 30, 1972 issue of The Advertiser highlights the Main Library’s imminent completion and plans for a regional library system. In the included photo, we can clearly see the original form of the library that we all know and love today.

Looking for your own Throwback Thursday content? Patrons of Lafayette Public Library can access the Daily Advertiser archive by visiting lafayettepubliclibrary.org/az/databases and selecting Daily Advertiser Collection.
