Keeping reliable power flowing takes preparation, teamwork, and planning ahead.

Recently, our crews partnered with Wabash Valley Power Alliance to install a temporary mobile substation that will help support reliable electric service while repairs continue at the Indian Lakes substation.

A mobile substation is a portable unit designed to temporarily support or replace a substation during maintenance, repairs, or unexpected situations. While most people never see the equipment working behind the scenes, substations play a major role in delivering electricity safely and reliably to homes and businesses throughout our community.

As we head into the busy summer season and electric demand increases throughout our area, this temporary mobile substation will provide additional support and flexibility for our system while permanent repairs are completed.

We are proud of the work our crews continue to do behind the scenes every day to provide safe and reliable service for our members!

Today, we had the opportunity to host a High Voltage Demonstration for local first responders.

These demonstrations provide hands-on education about the dangers of electricity, how to recognize potential hazards, and what to do in emergency situations involving power lines and electrical equipment.

We are thankful for the first responders who serve our communities every day and appreciate their commitment to continuing education and safety training. Working together helps keep both responders and our communities safer.

Thank you to everyone who attended today’s demonstration!

Happy National Accounting Day! 📊

Today, we are recognizing the two people who help keep everything organized, balanced, and running smoothly behind the scenes. Their work impacts nearly every part of our cooperative, and we are incredibly grateful for the dedication, accuracy, and care they bring each day.

Their efforts may not always be in the spotlight, but they are an essential part of what keeps us moving forward.

Thank you for all that you do!
