I have watched Meet the Press since I was a child. He is a disgraceful person and it’s sad to see a woman of her journalistic integrity have to sit and take that from a President of the United States that’s lying through his teeth and knows it. He actually knows it.

The lawsuit claims the 13-year-old exited his home wearing a full Ku Klux Klan robe, then defaced the home with hate speech, including the letters “HH” for “Heil Hitler.”

Pride Month is a reminder that many of the rights Americans enjoy today were not simply granted—they were fought for, defended, and affirmed, sometimes all the way to the Supreme Court. As this image points out, when you’ve never had to wonder whether the law recognizes your family, your marriage, your job, or your dignity, that’s a privilege many LGBTQ+ Americans have not always had.

I believe every American deserves equal protection under the law, respect in their community, and the freedom to live their life without fear of discrimination. Pride Month is a time to celebrate the progress we’ve made, remember those who fought for it, and recommit ourselves to the simple principle that everyone deserves the same rights and opportunities.

Finally, A STEP IN THE RIGHT DIRECTION!

The House’s approval of the War Powers bill is an important reminder that the people of this country must come first in every decision our government makes. Before we commit American troops, spend taxpayer dollars, or become involved in another overseas conflict, Congress has a responsibility to ask a simple question: How does this serve the American people?

Putting Americans first means honoring our service members, protecting our national security, and ensuring that the sons and daughters of working families are never sent into harm’s way without clear objectives, accountability, and the full involvement of the people’s representatives.

Washington spends too much time listening to special interests, party leaders, and political consultants. I believe government should put AMERICANS FIRST
—the workers, parents, veterans, small-business owners, and communities who make this country strong.
