All jokes aside, this is real video footage from the recent flooding in the Buckeye Lake/Millersport area.

These drivers were very lucky. You may not be.

Never drive through flood water. It only takes a few inches of moving water to create a dangerous situation.

Turn around. Don’t drown.

Lancaster citizens, please see the following information about current hydrant flushing:

The City of Lancaster Division of Water will begin flushing fire hydrants for Section 6 - Pink starting Monday, August 24, 2026. Testing will occur overnight from 10:00 PM to 6:00 AM and will last approximately three weeks.

Affected Area: E. Main St. to the Corp Limit (including Quarry/Commerce area), and north of E. Main St./East of Sheridan Dr. to the Corp Limit.

Water Safety: Water remains safe to drink, but you may notice temporary pressure drops or discoloration. If Discolored: Run your cold water tap for a few minutes until it clears. Avoid washing clothes or using hot water until clear.
