🌱Junior Master Gardener Series🌱

Calling all youth ages 8-14 in Cavalier County! Join us this summer for a FREE hands-on gardening program at the Cavalier County Courthouse.

Participants will:
🌿 Plant and care for garden crops
💧 Learn watering, weeding, and harvesting skills
🐞 Explore insects and plants through fun activities
🍃 Learn about herbs, leaves, and gardening science
🥕 Harvest fresh vegetables and fruit

📍 Location: Cavalier County Courthouse
🗓️ Every Tuesday, June 2-August 11
💰 FREE to attend

🔒 Lock up medications in a secure place
📦 Keep them in original containers
👀 Monitor quantities so you know if something is missing

“Sober curious” is a term used to describe those who are looking to change their relationship with drinking—but not quite ready to commit to total sobriety. It can look like only drinking on certain days or in certain situations. It might look like refraining from drinking for a certain period of time. Everyone’s way to approach it is different, and that's okay.
Here are some reminders if you’re “sober curious” in 2026:
💙Honesty with yourself will go a long way. There’s no shame in wanting to re-evaluate your drinking habits. It doesn’t mean there’s something wrong with you; it just means you’re looking for a change.
💙You get to define what being sober curious looks like to you. It doesn’t have to be all or nothing. It doesn’t have to be forever. It can change and adjust based on what you discover along the way.
💙Anyone can decide to be sober curious for any reason. It’s an opportunity to see what a change in drinking habits does for you. Maybe it’s a big change, or maybe it’s not so hard. You won’t know until you try—and that’s the whole point.
💙Not everyone will understand why you’re reevaluating your relationship with alcohol, and that’s okay. You don’t need to explain or excuse yourself. You are in control of your body and your choices.
