🎉 Happy Retirement, Leonard Rusher! 🎉

After joining the Ingham & Clinton County Department of Veterans Affairs on April 3rd, 2024, Leonard is closing this chapter and retiring to spend more time with his family.

Leonard has shared unforgettable words and timeless business wisdom with all of us:

*"Did anyone die?
Is anyone else going to jail?
Did we lose any money?
Did anyone go to the hospital?
Did we damage any equipment?
Are we going to be in the newspaper for something bad?

If the answer is no, don’t panic—it’s fixable!"*

Thank you, Leonard, for your guidance, humor, and dedication. Your presence will be deeply missed, but your wisdom—and that legendary quote—will live on in our office for years to come.

Enjoy every moment of retirement—you’ve earned it!

✨ Honoring the Retirement of Jeff Valerio ✨

Today marks Jeff Valerio’s last day with the Ingham County Department of Veterans Affairs as he begins his well-earned retirement.

After retiring from the Army National Guard, Jeff began with our department as a backup Transportation Officer and officially stepped into the role in 2018. From day one, Jeff has been a steady presence, dedicated, dependable, and deeply committed to serving our veterans.

We will truly miss his dedication, humor, and kindness, which have made a lasting impact on our team and the veterans he served.

Please join us in thanking Jeff for his service, both to our country and to our community, and in wishing him the very best in his next chapter. 🇺🇸
