Provide your input!

CATA’s Road Ahead is a year-long effort to review transit services and identify ways to improve efficiency, grow ridership, and reduce barriers to mobility.

The survey asks for feedback on two proposed service concepts informed by Phase I community input. These concepts are intended to explore future transit opportunities and are not final routes or planned service changes.

Have questions or need assistance completing the survey? Contact Customer Experience at 517-394-1100 or [email protected] and mention CATA’s Road Ahead.

Take the survey by June 12 at cata.org/RoadAhead.

🤩👏The Volunteer Spotlight for June is... Ellie, a Dining Site Volunteer!✨

About Ellie:

“Hi! I’m Ellie and I’m a volunteer for tri-county at Friendship Manor apartments. I’m a student-athlete at MSU that started volunteering with TCOA in January 2026 and I have loved every second of it. My role consists of serving food to the residents, helping to clean up, and getting the food out and ready before dinner service starts. Getting to know the community there and feeling like I’m making even a little bit of positive difference has been incredibly rewarding and I would recommend it to anyone. I started volunteering at Friendship Manor after suffering difficult mental health struggles throughout 2025 and it helped me regain a feeling of purpose in my life. I can’t wait to return there to continue my volunteering once the Fall semester begins.”

✨ Thank you, Ellie, for serving up smiles and meals at Friendship Manor!✨

For more information about volunteering please contact us at [email protected] or apply at tcoa.org/volunteer. 💓

🚨Scam Alert!🚨

Today marks the end of Medicare Fraud Prevention Week, an annual awareness campaign held during the week of 6/5—a nod to age 65, when most people become eligible for Medicare.

“Medicare participants can protect themselves by never sharing any information, especially their Medicare or Social Security numbers, with anyone who tries to solicit their business by phone, online or at their front door,” said DIFS Director Anita Fox. “If someone believes they’ve experienced a Medicare scam or a high-pressure sales tactic, we encourage them to contact DIFS at Michigan.gov/DIFSComplaints or by calling 877‑999‑6442 Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., to file a complaint.”
