Dolly Parton was a huge proponent for literacy. Her Imagination Library has been big part in making sure that young children have access to books. 1 in 7 children in the US, under the age of 5, receive books each month from the program. Over 200 million books have been distributed worldwide since the start of the program over 30 years ago. Today we honor her legacy and the impact she made all through out the world.
