We are thrilled to congratulate our Library Director, Casey McPhee, for winning the Florida Library Association's Administrator of the Year award! Thank you, Casey, for your outstanding leadership and dedication. Also, to making knowledge accessible to all! πŸŽ‰

Throughout her leadership, she has been a fierce champion for intellectual freedom and reducing barriers to information. Ready to level up your English skills? Here is what is happening this week at the English Conversation Club:

Show, Don't Tell (Tuesday, May 19): Stop just "saying" and start "describing"! Join us at 6:15 PM as we dive into the art of descriptive language to make your stories come alive.

The "Culture Shock" Roundtable (Friday, May 22): Moving to a new place is a wild ride. At 11:30 AM, pull up a chair for a real talk about the highs, lows, and surprises of adjusting to a new culture.

UPDATE: As of May 13, 2026, at 2pm, City systems and services have been restored and are operational.

Due to a data center outage on Wed, May 13, City facilities and operations may be impacted.

The Largo Public Library remains open from 9am-5pm. Facility phone lines are not operational. However, Team Members are available in-person to answer questions. Day programs are available as scheduled. Access to patron accounts to check in items and place holds cannot be processed in person. To access online library services, visit LargoPublicLibrary.org or download the Pinellas Public Library Cooperative app.
