Come shop, taste, and celebrate the incredible creativity of our young leaders! Through AmeriCorps’ Pathfinders program, youth have spent the summer learning to think like entrepreneurs, creators, and changemakers by designing, creating, naming, and pricing products of their own.
From handmade crafts and artwork to self-care products, delicious treats, and media-inspired creations, every item represents the talent, hard work, and innovation of our Pathfinders. Best of all, every purchase helps support their upcoming field trip!

While significant progress has been made, many LGBTQ+ individuals continue to face barriers, discrimination, and challenges that impact their well-being and opportunities.

Pride creates space for connection, affirmation, education, and advocacy. It reminds us that every person deserves the freedom to be themselves without fear.
By learning, listening, and supporting one another, we can help build stronger and more inclusive communities for everyone.

Families & Youth Innovations Plus (FYI+) is growing, and we’re looking for a passionate professional to join our Clinical Services team as a Functional Family Therapist in Doña Ana County!

As a Functional Family Therapist, you’ll have the opportunity to work directly with youth and families in their homes and communities, helping them strengthen relationships, overcome challenges, and build brighter futures. Using the evidence-based Functional Family Therapy (FFT) model, you’ll provide compassionate, family-centered care that empowers families to thrive.
At FYI+, we believe meaningful change happens when we honor lived experiences, foster resilience, and walk alongside families on their journey toward healing and success. If you’re passionate about working with youth, supporting families, and creating positive change in your community, we want to hear from you.

From the historic first-ever Las Cruces Pride Parade in 2023, themed “United in Diversity,” to the bold declaration of “WE ARE HERE” in 2024, and the powerful celebration of “Rooted in Resilience” in 2025, our community has continued to grow, thrive, and show up with pride.

In observance of Juneteenth, FYI+ will be closed on Friday, June 19.
Juneteenth commemorates the emancipation of enslaved African-Americans and serves as a powerful reminder of the ongoing pursuit of freedom, justice, equity, and opportunity for all communities. It is a day to honor history, reflect on progress, and recommit ourselves to creating a future where everyone can thrive.

Our offices will reopen on Monday, June 22, and we look forward to serving you then.

Did you know that Pride Month began as a movement for justice?

Pride traces its roots to the Stonewall Uprising of June 1969 in New York City, when LGBTQ+ individuals stood up against discrimination and police harassment. Their courage sparked a movement that helped advance LGBTQ+ rights across the United States and beyond.

The first Pride marches were organized to honor that resistance and demand equal treatment for all people.

As we celebrate Pride today, we also honor those who fought for the freedoms many enjoy today and recognize that the work toward equality continues.

Reaching for the stars with STEM!
This week, participants in FYI+’s Out-of-School Time (OST) Program had the incredible opportunity to visit the Challenger Learning Center of Las Cruces, where they stepped into the roles of astronauts, scientists, and engineers during an immersive Expedition Mars Mission experience.

Through hands-on learning, teamwork, critical thinking, and problem-solving, our students worked together to tackle real-world challenges while exploring the wonders of space exploration. Experiences like these bring science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) to life, helping youth discover new interests, build confidence, and imagine future possibilities.

The Challenger Learning Center serves as a living legacy honoring the crew of the Space Shuttle Challenger and their mission to inspire exploration, discovery, and lifelong learning. Our students not only learned about space and STEM careers but also experienced firsthand the power of collaboration, innovation, and curiosity.

We are proud of our OST participants for embracing every challenge, asking big questions, and reaching beyond the limits of what they thought was possible. The future is bright, and this mission was just the beginning!

BACKPACK GIVEAWAY MARATHON
Ready, set, go! The Family Success Center is excited to kick off Noé’s Backpack Giveaway Marathon, helping students start the new school year prepared and ready to succeed.

From June 10 through July 10, families can visit the Family Success Center to receive a FREE backpack for students in grades K–12, while supplies last. Whether your child is entering kindergarten, middle school, or preparing for their final year of high school, we want to help ensure they have the tools they need for a successful school year.

🕒 Backpacks available during business hours:
Monday–Thursday: 8:00 AM – 7:00 PM
Friday: 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM
Saturday: 9:00 AM – 1:00 PM
