Temperatures across the region will be cooler than normal today, with breezy northerly winds picking up later this morning and continuing through the afternoon. Isolated-to-scattered showers and thunderstorms will be possible across the eastern half of our forecast area as a low pressure system responsible for Monday's storms continues to move through the area.

Tropical moisture will usher into the region today, bringing chances of showers and thunderstorms to the Desert Southwest today through Tuesday. Primary hazards include frequent lightning, heavy rainfall, gusty winds, and flash flooding. Cannot rule out small hail. Greatest chances of flash flooding will be across Mohave County, southern Clark County, and the Colorado River Valley.

A Flood Watch has been issued for most of Mohave County from Monday morning through Tuesday evening. Hazards include heavy rain, dangerous lightning, roadway rockslides, and roadway flooding.
