The Spring Valley Area Command is responsible for the coordination and professional delivery of police services to this area of the city as well as areas of Clark County. In addition, Spring Valley also serves the area of China Town and is home to two major hotel casinos and three high

schools. The boundaries are Sahara Ave to the north, I-15 to the east, Warm Springs Rd to the south, and Durango Dr to the west.

Southeast Area Command Front Desk Temporarily Relocating!

Beginning September 1, front desk services currently available at Southeast Area Command (SEAC) will temporarily relocate to the new Hollywood Area Command building while renovations are completed. The SEAC front desk will remain open through Friday, August 28.

On Monday, August 31, anyone within the SEAC jurisdiction needing front desk services, including filing a police report, obtaining a copy of a report, or requesting a background check, should visit South Central Area Command, Convention Center Area Command, Northeast Area Command, or LVMPD Headquarters. Visit LVMPD.com for locations.

Beginning on Tuesday, September 1, front desk services will be available at Hollywood Area Command, located at:

2300 S. Hollywood Blvd. Las Vegas, NV 89142

The SEAC building, located at 3675 E. Harmon Ave., Las Vegas, NV 89121, will be completely closed until renovations are complete. Emergency police response will not be affected by this closure.

Here is a list of the intersections in our jurisdiction with the highest number of traffic crashes last month.

Reducing traffic deaths is among this department’s highest priorities. Everyone deserves to reach their destination safely. Don’t put yourself or others at risk by engaging in dangerous driving behaviors.

Some of the top contributing factors in injury crashes during July included:

❌ Failure to Yield the Right of Way
❌ Failure to Maintain Lane / Ran Off Road / Wrong-Way Driving
❌ Disregarding a Traffic Control Device

On July 12, 2026, at approximately 4:25am a Ford F350 Optum Medicine Ambulance was stolen near the 2800 block of El Camino Rd. This vehicle is decommissioned and does NOT have a license plate. We need your help locating this vehicle. If you have seen this vehicle, we urge you to contact LVMPD Spring Valley Area Command/ Patrol Investigations at 702-828-2639 or email [email protected] with any information. 🚨 SCAM ALERT: Stop. Think. Verify.

LVMPD has received numerous calls today from concerned citizens who received scam phone calls that sounded and felt very real.

Scammers may claim you:

Failed to appear in court
Missed jury or grand jury duty
Have a warrant for your arrest
Must immediately pay money to avoid arrest

They may leave a convincing voicemail or keep you on the phone while pressuring and threatening you. Do not fall for it. Law enforcement will never demand immediate payment over the phone to prevent an arrest.

Never provide personal or financial information to someone who calls unexpectedly. Hang up and independently contact LVMPD or your local law enforcement agency to verify the claim.
