The Lebanon Junction Fire Department is proud to announce that we raised $12,053.48 for the 2026 WHAS Crusade for Children!

This year’s total represents a 42% increase over last year’s donation of $8,487.94 and breaks our previous department record of $11,842.06, which was set during the 2005-2006 crusade year.

A special thank you goes to the Bullitt County Rod and Gun Club, Steve and Tony Miles for serving as Shoot Masters during the Turkey Shoot, Smoke Over Fire BBQ for donating food, and all those who gave their time, talents, and resources to help make this crusade a success.

Today’s the last day to donate to WHAS Crusade for Children. We will be out at the Pilot truck stop all day today until 8pm. We hope to see all your smiling faces!

If you have a donation and need it to be picked up you can call the fire house at 502-833-2022 and request for a member to come get it. Or you can drop it off at our station located at 291 main st.

Throughout this week you will see our members out collecting for the WHAS Crusade for Children! You can find us out front of the fire station, and at the Pilot truck stop entrance! Come see us and help us achieve our goal!

🚒❤️ Crusade for Children Has Begun! ❤️🚒

The Lebanon Junction Fire Department is proud to kick off our annual participation for the Crusade for Children!

For decades, this incredible tradition has helped support children with special needs, providing essential medical care, equipment, and opportunities that truly change lives. We’re honored to be part of something so meaningful right here in our community.

Over the coming weeks, you’ll see our firefighters out collecting donations, hosting events, and working hard to make a difference one dollar at a time. Every contribution, big or small, goes directly toward helping kids and families who need it most.

You can find us at the entrance to the Pilot truck stop today starting around 9am till noon. And we will be back out there around 4pm! We hope to see everyone!

update: the fire is out as of 21:00 hours (9:00pm) all emergency personnel are cleared from the area. State forestry officials will be in the area to keep an eye for a few hours.

We are currently working a large brush fire in the area of Wilson Creek Rd. And Myers Rd. Please try to avoid the area if possible or seek alternative routes.
