Day 21 of the was a little experiment with my new metallic watercolors. Using a shimmery pigment to capture the sparkle of the Gulf of Mexico feels a bit like a shortcut, but I couldn’t help myself 🙈

Excited to share days 3-20 with y’all- there’s really no theme except that I’m thoroughly enjoying the practice of painting for fun again.

Yesterday marked the start of the 2026 ! Here are days 1 & 2.

This was an extremely refreshing practice in 2024…. I learned quite a bit about what works, how ✨I✨ work, and how to balance sharing and creating without becoming so focused on the post. This year I don’t have a structured plan on how I’ll share my daily paintings, but I promise I will, whether it’s in batches or full blown reels or the process. I’ll also be more selective about which ones become prints, so please tell me if you’re interested in any specific day.

I’ve been blown away by the response to this project — THANK YOU for your kind words, for sharing, and for your orders!

Pre-orders end in just 4 days, and so does special pricing — prints will increase from $220 to $240 after Nov. 2nd. Highly requested print numbers are also going fast (most of the top 20 are gone!), so if you’ve had your eye on a specific one, I recommend ordering soon!

Prefer to shop in person? Your favorite indie bookstore will have a limited batch available starting November 4th. I’ll randomly select a handful of print numbers for the shop, so if you’d like to choose yours, be sure to pre-order online!

It's hard to picture downtown Lexington without thinking about the beautiful historic churches nestled between stretches of storefronts. I love the texture and variety that they bring to the larger Elevations of Lexington print, sprinkling in tall steeples, ornate windows, and traditional columns.

It's GAME DAY in Blacksburg, and I'm celebrating the first home game of the season with a brand new print- Lane Stadium!

I remember my first game in Lane so well. My new friends and I, like the eager freshmen that we were, got to our gate when the stadium opened. I think we were some of the first 100 people in. We sat in our assigned seats at the top of East stands and watched the stadium fill up for the next two hours, and enjoyed every single minute of it. This was also the day that I sunburned the VT logo onto my cheek… that tan line stuck around.

And of course, there's nothing quite like Enter Sandman, especially at a night game!

If you've visited my website over the last couple weeks, you were met with a page that read "Under Construction". This summer I realized it had been SIX YEARS since I built my little website and transitioned away from Etsy. Six! So it felt like time for a little refresh.

I’ve incorporated more color, touches of my workspace, illustrated details, and my own handwriting to create a website that feels more aligned with what I'm creating.
