Get up and get moving this weekend! 💺 Sitting too much can raise your risk for a variety of diseases and affect your mental health — but taking short, frequent breaks can help: https://bit.ly/3TUvSqH

Did You Know?

When severe weather happens, one of the most important things you can know is what county you live in and which counties surround you.

Weather watches and warnings are often issued by county, and storm reports frequently reference neighboring counties as storms move across the region. Knowing where you are in relation to those counties can help you better understand potential impacts and make decisions more quickly.

Indiana is served by six National Weather Service offices. As for Wayne County, forecasts, watches, warnings, and severe weather information are provided by US National Weather Service Wilmington OH

Taking a few minutes now to familiarize yourself with Wayne County and the counties around us can make a big difference when every minute counts.

🌩️ Stay informed. Stay weather aware. Stay prepared.

🚨We have an urgent need for Type O negative blood donors. 🚨

Our blood inventory is currently very low, and O negative blood donations are especially needed. Known as the universal donor blood type, O negative blood can be used in emergency situations when there isn't time to determine a patient's blood type.

If you're eligible to donate, please join us for a blood drive hosted by Versiti Blood Center of Dayton from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Tuesday at Reid Health Connersville, on the second floor near the elevator, 2500 N. Park Road.

Your donation could help save lives right here in our communities.

As a thank-you, donors can enjoy a movie, popcorn, and candy day, receive special coupons from Showtime Cinema and Larkingreene Ford, and take home a Versiti summer tote bag while supplies last.

Schedule your appointment at DonorTime.com, through the Donor Time app, or by calling (937) 461-3220.

We appreciate the generosity of donors and their life-saving contributions to help others and ensure a safe and adequate blood supply for those who need it most.
