A mailer with my face on it is spreading LIES. I’ve never proposed or supported what they claim, and I’d never heard of it until I opened it.
Look at the fine print. Voters for Good Government. Ask who funds them and who has profited from how Montebello has been run for decades.
They’re not attacking the candidates who are losing. They’re attacking the ones who are winning. I won’t be intimidated. District 5 deserves an independent voice, chosen by you, not appointed for you.

Some see dumping and littering.
I see potential: better communication, connection, and clarity.

Over the last few weeks, I have been walking and seeing a lot of dumping, bulky items, and litter. We have paid services and resources that residents and stakeholders in our city can report for resolution.

I have communicated and connected with the Police Department regarding these whippets (inhalants) and helped reduce the activity in our area. From the looks this will have to be a continued focus.

Next, we should explore a campaign regarding illegal dumping and bulky item pick-up and reporting. This may be more or better signage, neighborhood input, and more code enforcement.

District 5 (and all of Montebello) needs leadership that is out in the community, promoting and following up with our MyMontebello application, and exploring solutions that make Montebello better.
