Today at zero dark thirty hours, LAPD Rampart personnel conducted public safety operations at a problematic encampment on Beverly at Madison. Officers completed 41 citations for 41.18 LAMC, made
4 Felony arrests (2 Probation violation, 1 Parole, 1 Felony warrant), and 1 misdemeanor warrant. Additionally, 1 handgun was recovered. Once completed, the Mayor’s Office Inside Safe Team moved in with assistance from CD-13 and placed 61 people into housing. Outstanding job by all involved keeping the community safe. Last night, Rampart Narcotics was working the area surrounding MacArthur Park. Ultimately, they made contact with two separate narcotics dealers in the same vicinity. Both were subsequently detained for further investigation and a large amount of prescription drugs were seized to include Xanax, Hydrocodone, Clonazepam, and Oxycodone. Both suspects were arrested for 11375 (b)(1) HS – Possession for sale of prescription medication. Law Enforcement will not stop until we rid the area of illegal narcotics. Thanks to all involved for keeping the community safe and protecting MacArthur Park. 🏰

On September 27, 2026 at approximately 1915 hours, Rampart Gang Officers were conducting extra patrol along the 500 block of S Westlake when a group of gang members were observed loitering. When officers exited their vehicle a suspect immediately fled into the apartment complex. The suspect was taken into custody and a fi***rm was recovered. The suspect was arrested for an ex con in possession of a fi***rm along with a probation violation. Outstanding work by all involved keeping the community safe. 🏰

Last night, Rampart SLO’s supported Fall Friday Nights at MacArthur Park. It was an outstanding community engagement event put on by the City of LA and multiple stakeholders. All of us, will continue to keep MacArthur Park and the community safe! 🏰

Rampart Gang Officers were conducting routine patrol when they stopped a vehicle for a vehicle code violation. Ultimately, the Officers found the driver in possession of narcotics and a fi***rm. The driver was arrested. Thanks for keeping the community safe and protecting the Castle. 🏰

On September 18, 2026 at approximately 2330 hours, Rampart Gang Officers were conducting crime suppression in the area of 11th place and Union Ave when they observed the suspect, who was known to be on probation for fi***rms violation.

Officers attempted to conduct a probation compliance check. The suspect failed to comply with officers’ commands and fled on foot while holding his waistband. During the foot pursuit, officers observed the suspect discard a fi***rm. The suspect was subsequently taken into custody, and officers recovered the fi***rm. The suspect was arrested for 29800 PC - Felon in possession of a fi***rm. The suspect is a known 18th Street gang member and has been arrested multiple times for fi***rm possession.

Today, Rampart Narcotics operated around MacArthur Park. Their investigation and observations led to a total of FIVE total arrests and ONE gun seizure! Outstanding work by all involved protecting the community and the Castle. 🏰
