It was a true pleasure to welcome the Italian Men’s National Water Polo Team to the Residence of the Consul General of Italy in Los Angeles before their departure for Sydney for the World Aquatics Championships. 🇮🇹🤽‍♂️

After completing their training camp in California, including three matches against in San Francisco and a valuable joint training session with the team in Los Angeles, the Settebello is ready to take on the world.

Just over a month ago, on 31 May, in anticipation of the 80th anniversary of Italy’s Republic Day 🇮🇹 (June 2nd), we gathered at the Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum to commemorate this important occasion ✨

As we get closer to American Independence Day 🇺🇸 and the 250th anniversary of the United States, it feels like a meaningful moment to look back on that day — a shared expression of values that go beyond borders.

The event was marked by emotion, pride, and the enduring Olympic spirit, hosted in a historic venue with distinguished guests — symbolically connecting the Milano Cortina 2026 Olympic Winter Games ❄️ and the LA28 Olympic Summer Games 🌴, reinforcing the bridge between sport, culture, and friendship.
