Concrete Dreams Art Walk

On July 11, 2026, 2 Live and Die in L.A. will partner with East LA Film Shop, Pegasus Car Club, West Side Car Club, Lowrider Magazine, California Biker Babes and other community organizations to present the inaugural Concrete Dreams Art Walk—a celebration of Los Angeles art, culture, and community.

From 3 PM to 9 PM, 100 photographers will document authenticity of Los Angeles through curated backdrops featuring lowriders, murals, classic street culture, and the people who continue to shape the city’s identity. All photographer registration fees and community donations will benefit Homeboy Art Academy, helping provide creative opportunities for local youth and emerging artists.

Throughout the day, guests can also enjoy a free public art gallery, support local vendors, experience screenings of short films by independent filmmakers, and take part in an open mic creative session showcasing local musicians, poets, and performers.

Concrete Dreams Art Walk is built on one simple mission: to preserve culture, create opportunities for artists, strengthen our creative community, and give back through the power of art. Our vision is for this event to become an annual Los Angeles tradition that celebrates the city’s authentic voice while investing in the next generation of creators.

Thank you to for creating this video

Last year we held our 3rd Annual Three Kings Day Event but three days later, the Eaton/Palisades fire broke out and with so much destruction and losses, we didn’t feel it was the right time to post our event.

Today, January 6 is Three Kings Day, also known as the Epiphany, celebrating the visit of the three wise men and is celebrated in many cultures around the world.

Here is a short video of our event last year. The children didn’t mind taking pictures with the Three Wisemen, they were just excited to get more toys. They drank hot Champurrado with a slice of the Rosca and if they found a baby in the bread, they received another toy!!

A long overdue shoutout to all our volunteers that came out to support, again thank you for everything you do and appreciate your continued support and dedication!!!

Thank you for creating this video to show what we do and the smiles on our families that enjoyed the day receiving gifts and goodies.
