Today, the members of the Lyndhurst Police Emergency Squad mourn the loss of Commissioner Karen Haggerty.

Commissioner Haggerty dedicated her life to serving the Township of Lyndhurst with compassion, leadership, and unwavering commitment to our residents. From supporting the community during the pandemic, advocating for local families, and strengthening Township services, to standing beside first responders and volunteer organizations, her impact will be felt for generations.

Karen was more than a public servant. She was a lifelong Lyndhurst resident, a supporter of emergency services, and someone who truly cared about this community and the people who call it home.

On behalf of the Lyndhurst Emergency Squad and all its members, we extend our deepest condolences to her family, friends, colleagues, and all who had the privilege of knowing her.

Thank you for your service, Commissioner Haggerty.
Your dedication, kindness, and love for Lyndhurst will never be forgotten.

Rest in Peace. ๐Ÿ’™
