Pictured here is Paramedic Nolan C. practicing endotracheal intubation using our new GlideScope video laryngoscope that provides an enhanced view of the airway while also recording the procedure. The saved video can then be reviewed by the patient's care team at the hospital and RBA's industry-leading QA team to ensure high-quality care is the standard for every patient, no matter the conditions.

Did you know Ryan Brothers Ambulance provides both interfacility transport (IFT) and 911 EMS services?

That's right! In addition to transporting patients between healthcare facilities, RBA also provides 911 services to the City of Lake Mills, the Town of Lake Mills, and portions of the Towns of Oakland and Aztalan.

Our skilled EMTs and Paramedics provide Advanced Life Support (ALS) care to these communities 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year.

Pictured here is Tanner, one of the dedicated paramedics serving in our 911 division. Whether he is responding to an emergent 911 call or providing high-quality care during an IFT transport, Tanner represents RBA's high standards of professionalism and commitment to patients.

It’s time for another employee spotlight! This week we are highlighting one of Ryan Brothers’ best team members, Amber C!

Amber started working at RBA in 2011 and was full-time until she became a Firefighter/Medic with Lake Country Fire & Rescue in 2022. For the last four years she has worked part-time at RBA as a Critical Care Paramedic. That is 15 years of dedication and service to her patients!

We asked Amber what she gets out of working part time with RBA and she said “I appreciate the opportunity to treat critical patients and sharpen my critical decision-making skills at RBA in a different setting than my full-time 911 job. Working IFT shifts here lets me see a variety of different hospitals, interact and learn from different physicians/nurses/EMS providers and overall widen my EMS field of view.”

When she isn’t working at RBA or Lake Country, Amber also volunteers with Ixonia Fire, farms flowers that she sells at local markets, and is an awesome mother.

EMS Week is underway at Ryan Brothers!

To show our appreciation for the excellent service our EMS personnel provide to their patients, RBA management has been serving crews delicious food at our headquarters in Madison, WI to and handing out this year's EMS Week present, flashlights!

The management team at Ryan Brothers Ambulance is proud to lead such an amazing team of EMS providers who make Ryan Brothers the best ambulance service in Wisconsin (or at least tied for the best with Ambulnz by DocGo - Wisconsin ).

Happy EMS Week 2026!

We are kicking off everyone’s favorite week of the year by recognizing the dedicated providers that have made Ryan Brothers Ambulance the best ambulance service in Wisconsin since 1962. These hardworking EMTs, Advanced EMTs, Paramedics, and Critical Care Paramedics provide outstanding care in less-than-ideal situations 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.

While our crews have access to some of the industry’s best medical equipment and supplies to help them, it isn’t the technology that gets the job done. It is the two EMS providers utilizing their training, experience, problem-solving skills, and teamwork to get the patient the care they need.

The Mission: Lifeline® EMS Recognition program honors emergency medical services that demonstrate a sustained commitment to nationally accepted, evidence-based guidelines for heart and stroke care. Achieving the Silver level reflects consistent annual compliance with rigorous AHA performance measures focused on speed, coordination, and clinical excellence to improve patient outcomes.

Employee Spotlight: John M

This week we would love to highlight one of our amazing advanced EMTs, John M! John has been helping Ryan Brothers Ambulance provide high quality patient care for 14 years. John originally became an EMT to start volunteering in his community, but in 2012 made the decision to switch careers and make EMS his profession.

His partners enjoy his sense of humor and positive attitude, and new providers appreciate the wisdom he is always willing to share. While John likes the schedule and work/life balance RBA provides, it is the sense of fulfillment he gets from helping others and making a difference in people's lives that has kept his enthusiasm for EMS strong for 14 years.

John was one of 3 RBA employees to be recognized as Wisconsin Stars of Life honorees in 2025 by the Professional Ambulance Association of Wisconsin. Thank you John for your dedication to EMS and your patients!

It’s National Public Safety Telecommunicators Week, and we’re proud to recognize the incredible work of our dispatchers!

As the first point of contact, they keep everything moving—gathering critical information, coordinating resources, and supporting crews every step of the way. Great patient care isn’t possible without strong, effective dispatching, and our team makes that happen every day.

Our team members are the face of our company to our patients and provide compassionate, experienced care when they need it most. YOU are what makes Ryan Brothers truly special!

We see and celebrate our team’s passionate and dedication throughout the year, but on National Employee Appreciation Day, our leadership team took a moment to express our thanks and provide a small token of our appreciation by organizing a ramen bar at our headquarters in Madison. Over the weekend crews were able to stop by in between transports and pick up a warm meal, even if it was in the middle of night!

To our team, THANK YOU for showing up for your colleagues, patients and communities! THANK YOU for making Ryan Brothers a great place to work!
