SAVE THE DATE - What You Need to Know: Damaging Consequences of the Anti-Equity Amendment Webinar

Wisconsin voters will see a constitutional amendment on the November 3, 2026 ballot that could have significant impacts on public education, employment, contracting, and government programs across the state. While the ballot language references discrimination and preferential treatment, the proposed amendment would also limit the use of certain equity-focused policies and programs.

Two Portage Community School District elementary schools closed their doors this summer and won’t open them again in September due to a failed referendum. At least five other rural public school districts have been forced to shut down a school to balance their budgets.

The public school funding crisis is leading to rural students traveling further distances for larger class sizes. It’s time to adequately fund our public schools and make sure every student, regardless of where they live, has access to a sound, basic public education. Remember as long as you are in line before 8pm, you will still be allowed to vote. If you experience any issues call or text the Election Protection hotline 866-OUR-VOTE (866-687-8683) to get voting help.

If you still have your absentee ballot, you still have time to turn it in to your polling place by 8pm! Don't delay!
