We’re excited to welcome Mrs. Ava Smith to the Northwest Elementary School team as our new 5th grade teacher! ❤️💙

Ava shared:

"Hi everyone! My name is Mrs. Ava Smith and I am the new 5th grade science teacher at Northwest Elementary School. I am a 2022 Northwest graduate and a recent Shawnee State University graduate. I am so excited to be back at Northwest to encourage students’ love for science and learning. Let’s make it a great year of science, growth and fun!"

Returning to the district where her own educational journey began, Ava brings enthusiasm, fresh ideas, and a passion for helping students discover the excitement of science. We’re thrilled to welcome her back to Northwest....this time in the classroom!
