Louis Ruth is a New York-born photographer who now calls WA State home. He is known for his stunning photographs of nature, wildlife and coastal waterscapes, capturing the beauty of the Pacific Northwest with his lens. He studied at Southern Oregon State College before joining the Army, where he fell in love
with photography. Louis' passion for nature, wildlife and city sky

line photography was sparked during a visit to WA state, and he has been captivated by the natural beauty of the Pacific Northwest ever since. Louis' work is characterized by his ability to capture the essence of his subjects, from the rugged coastline of the PNW Pacific Northwest to the tranquil woodlands in WA State.
