King tides are expected starting tomorrow, October 7 through Tuesday, October 13.

NOAA peak tide time predictions:
10/7 at 6:53 a.m. & 7:18 p.m.
10/8 at 7:45 a.m. & 8:05 p.m.
10/9 at 8:35 a.m. & 8:50 p.m.
10/10 at 9:21 a.m. & 9:33 p.m.
10/11 at 10:06 a.m. & 10:14 p.m.
10/12 at 10:48 a.m. & 10:54 p.m.
10/13 at 11:30 a.m. & 11:33 p.m.

Water levels can remain noticeably high for 1.5 to 2 hours before and after peak times. The peak times vary throughout Miami Beach based on location and do not include additional factors such as wind or rain.

Avoid floodwaters and report flooding to our 24/7 Public Works Control Room by calling 305.673.7625, emailing [email protected] or using the Miami Beach Gov app.

September was a busy month for our department!

Our Rescue Division celebrated 60 years of service with MBFD, we honored Childhood Cancer Awareness Month, held our annual 9/11 ceremony to remember the lives lost 25 years ago, collected donations to support hurricane relief efforts in Colombia and so much more.
