We had the privilege of hearing a story that reminded us what the American flag truly represents.
John from Memorial Boots stopped by after helping es**rt PFC Sweet, a World War II POW, from Bradley International Airport to Bennington, Vermont. After decades away from home, PFC Sweet’s remains were recently identified in a mass grave in the Philippines and finally brought home.
During the two-hour highway es**rt, one of our American-made flags proudly made the entire journey, while two imported flags were unable to withstand the ride. John stopped in afterward to share his appreciation, and hearing what that flag had been a part of meant more to us than we can put into words.
We’re proud to provide American-made flags, but we’re even prouder when they become part of moments like this.
