🎓 Congratulations to the Class of 2026! 🎓

Minneapolis Public Schools kicked off high school graduation season on June 2 with Wellstone International High School's commencement ceremony. A record-setting 115 students earned their diplomas, making this the largest graduating class in Wellstone history.

All MPS high school graduation ceremonies will be livestreamed via MPS Eduvision. Find more graduation information at the link in the comments.

Two outstanding MPS music educators are quarterfinalists for the 2027 Grammy Educator of the Year:

🎼🌟 Lesley Earles, band specialist at Edison High School

🎼🌟 Laurie Meyers, choir specialist at South High School

The Music Educator Award recognizes current educators who have made a significant and lasting contribution to the field of music education and demonstrated a strong commitment to its continued growth and success. Semifinalists will be announced in September.
