CVA Community,
It has been a tremendous privilege and honor to serve the Cyber Village Academy community for the past eight years. During this time, I have had the opportunity to work alongside incredible students, families, staff, and board members who make CVA an amazing educational institution and experience. What has always stood out to me most is the way this community values people—where every voice matters, every individual is heard, and students are encouraged to grow into thoughtful, caring, and inquiring citizens.
As I step away from my role, I do so with deep gratitude and confidence in the future of CVA. Please continue doing the good work that makes this school unique: supporting one another, challenging students to reach their individual potential, and creating a community where everyone belongs. I wish each of you continued success, joy, and growth in the years ahead.
You will be in excellent hands with the next CVA Executive Director, Sarah Schlake. Sarah brings charter school experience, strong leadership, and a genuine passion for serving each individual student and family. I know she will continue to build on the strengths of this remarkable community. Thank you for allowing me to be part of the CVA story—it is a chapter I will always treasure. All my best.
Make it a great day!
