Happy Father’s Day from the 69th Bomber Generation Squadron!

From our first mechanical experiences where we didn’t how to hold a flashlight the right way, our dads were there showing us how to build, fix, and figure things out. They taught us patience, perseverance, and the importance of never giving up.

Today, we also recognize the Knighthawks who carry the responsibility of fatherhood while serving our mission. Whether they are turning wrenches, launching aircraft, leading Airmen, or supporting from home, these fathers continue to set the example of dedication, sacrifice, and strength for the next generation.

To the dads who helped shape who we are and the Knighthawk fathers who inspire their children every day, thank you for showing us what it means to lead, serve, and take flight. No matter how high we go, we will always look up to you.

🐝💣 Knighthawks Bring the Buzz! 💣🐝

The 69th BGS packed the stands to cheer on the Minot Honeybees this weekend! Knighthawks and their families swarmed the ballpark, created quite the buzz, and had a hive of a time supporting our local professional softball team. ⚾🍯

Thank you to everyone who came out and spent the evening with the Honeybees while representing the Knighthawk family. 🦅✈️

🦅 Farewell, First Sergeant Haynes! 🦅

The Knighthawks bid farewell to MSgt Byron Haynes and his family as they take flight across the Atlantic to England for the next chapter of his First Sergeant journey.

The 69th Bomber Generation Squadron was his very first squadron as a diamond wearing First Sergeant, and together we learned, grew, and built a stronger team. Through every challenge and every success, Shirt Haynes remained focused on what mattered most: taking care of Airmen and their families.

Thank you for your leadership, mentorship, and unwavering commitment to our Knighthawks. While we’re sad to see you go, we’re excited to see the impact you’ll make overseas.

Best of luck in England, Shirt! Keep taking care of Airmen, keep wearing that diamond with pride, and continue to Take Flight!

Congratulations to MSgt Rosa Harris on graduating from the USAF First Sergeant Academy and officially earning the right to wear the Diamond! 💎

While we’re sad to have her depart from the 69th Bomber Generation Squadron, we couldn’t be prouder of all she has accomplished. Rosa’s leadership, dedication, and commitment to Airmen made a lasting impact on the Knighthawks, and we know she’s going to be showing her new squadron in Arizona what it means to TAKE FLIGHT.

From the flightline to the First Sergeant ranks, thank you for leading from the front and taking care of Airmen every step of the way.
