🎉 We’re 85% of the way there!

We’ve raised $85,000 toward our $100,000 goal, which means we only have $15,000 left to go! 🙌

This year, your support is helping cover the utilities and infrastructure costs for the Odom lots, purchased earlier this year. It’s an important investment in the future of our island community.

And what a summer it’s been! So far, we’ve enjoyed:

🚤 The Cardboard Regatta
🎶 A fantastic music night and silent auction at the Trailing Yew

Thanks to everyone who showed up to support the 2026 Cardboard Regatta today! We had 10 teams enter boats in the race and at least 7 made it all the way! A great turnout of spectators made for another exciting event!

🚣 MISCA Cardboard Regatta is Almost Here!

Join us Thursday at 1:00 PM on Swim Beach for one of Monhegan’s most entertaining summer traditions—the MISCA Cardboard Regatta!

The challenge? Build a boat using only cardboard and duct tape, then see if it can survive the trip across the water!

Whether you’re competing or cheering from the beach, it’s always an afternoon full of creativity, laughter, and the occasional spectacular sinking.

Meet Stella — she arrived on Monhegan at the end of May and has been making friends ever since. 🐾

Stella belongs to Nick, MISCA’s president and a year-round island resident. And we think she’s the perfect dog to introduce something we’re really excited about.

We’re getting ready to release a Dogs of Monhegan calendar, featuring the beloved pups who call this island home. Proceeds will benefit MISCA and our work to preserve Monhegan’s year-round community.

Calendars will be $25, and we want to know how many to order. Would you buy one?
