The Monhegan Associates shares in mourning the recent loss of Edward L. Deci. In 1983, Ed was a trustee of the Monhegan Associates, which at the time owned the Monhegan Museum and was instrumental in transforming the Museum from a branch of the land trust to an independent nonprofit organization, the Monhegan Museum of Art & History. Ed was a beloved member of the Monhegan community and served as both Director and President of the Museum for more than thirty-five years.

It is with great sadness we share the passing of Edward L. Deci, long-time President and Director of the Monhegan Museum of Art & History.
