"Wildfire Safety Precautions in Place for Your Area

Due to elevated wildfire risk in your area, we are taking additional safety precautions. We have turned on enhanced safety settings and protective devices on our equipment that will automatically de-energize power lines when debris, wildlife or strong winds contact the lines."

At the Monday, June 22, 2026 City Council Meeting, in honor of the upcoming 250th Anniversary of the United States of America, the Council approved a resolution on the display of flags at City buildings and facilities. The new flag resolution includes displaying commemorative flags, such as the "Betsy Ross" flag currently flying below the official U.S. flag at City Hall. In addition, Council approved a proclamation recognizing America's 250th Anniversary!
