RE: M-GSD District Wellness Committee

We are looking for teachers, school staff, parents, students, and community members to join our District Wellness Committee! The committee works together to identify needs, share ideas, develop goals, and take action to strengthen the health, well-being, and learning environment for all students and staff. Together, we’ll explore opportunities related to nutrition, physical activity, employee wellness, school climate, family engagement, mental health, and more. Committee members may help review current wellness efforts, identify areas for improvement, support wellness initiatives and activities, and help shape priorities for our school community.

You do not need to be a wellness expert to participate - just bring your ideas, experiences, and interest in making our schools healthier places for everyone. Monroe-Gregg’s Wellness Committee will meet once each quarter and is looking for folks who want to help turn ideas into positive changes within our school community!

Interested in getting involved? We’d love to have you at the table! Our first meeting for the 2026-2027 school year is Wednesday, September 30th from 3-4 pm in the Middle School Conference room. Please reach out to Mrs. Katie Fulayter ([email protected]) to learn more or join the committee.
