⚠️🚨Attention Mooers/Mooers Forks Residents🚨⚠️

Mooers Townwide Yard Sale will be June 13th and 14th from 9am-4pm!

Signs may be picked up at the station on Wednesday June 8th, 6:30pm-8pm and Friday, June 12th from 6:30pm-8pm

Limited space is available at the fire station for those, wishing to set up a booth inside.
$15 for residents
$20 for non-residents

Thank you for supporting one of the Auxiliary's major fundraising event. The fire department will be selling food at the fire station on Saturday only beginning at 11:00am.

🔥 Northern Battalion Training Update: Wildland Fire Tactics & Apparatus Familiarization 🔥

Great training opportunity this past Monday at Ellenburg Depot Fire Station! We teamed up with neighboring departments for an excellent session on wildland fire tactics and scenarios presented by NY State Forest Rangers with a total 56 volunteers present!!!!
A huge thanks to all departments for taking the time to collaborate and train together. Our personnel had the chance to get hands-on familiarization with brush apparatus, pumps, and specialized tools from multiple departments. This type of inter-agency training strengthens our region's readiness and builds valuable relationships with our neighbors.

Congratulations, Firefighter Evan Manor on recently completing the New York State BEFO class and becoming a certified exterior firefighter! Evan will resume his training soon as he will attend the IFO class to become an interior firefighter! Great job Evan keep up the good work, we are excited to see what the future holds for you!

🚒 Northern Battalion Training Night! 🚒

Tonight, members of Mooers Volunteer Fire Department joined our Northern Battalion brothers and sisters for a fantastic training hosted by Rouses Point Fire Department!

The focus of the evening was aerial truck familiarization — giving firefighters hands-on experience deploying and operating Rouses Point's aerial truck, so we're prepared to use it effectively when called for mutual aid. Members had the opportunity to go up the ladder and get a real feel for aerial operations firsthand.

We also trained on tanker task force operations, learning what it takes to supply an aerial with a sufficient and continuous water supply. Champlain Fire Department served as the fill pumper, keeping the tanker shuttle running smoothly throughout the night.

A great night of training and camaraderie with some outstanding departments! A huge thank you to Rouses Point Fire Department for hosting and putting together such a valuable training, and to Car 4 for coordinating the evening.

Last evening we held our annual banquet to celebrate our accomplishments of last year and honor a few members for their years of service and dedication to our community. Thank you to everyone who attended, we had a great time and look forward to what 2026 has in store for us.
