Over the past two days, our department has experienced one of the most difficult times we can face as a fire family. As we said our final goodbyes to one of our own, we were reminded just how strong the brotherhood and sisterhood of the fire service truly are, and how much support surrounds our community.
We would like to extend our sincere thanks to all the fire departments and emergency services who helped provide coverage and stood ready to answer calls while our members attended the visitation and funeral services. Your support allowed us to be there for our fallen brother and his family, and we are truly grateful.
Thank you to everyone who offered condolences, sent messages, shared kind words, attended the visitation and funeral, helped prepare and serve the luncheon, and supported our department in any way. Every act of kindness, no matter how big or small, meant more to us than words can express.
To everyone who stood alongside us, helped carry us through these past two days, and showed our department and our fallen firefighter’s family so much love and respect, thank you. Your support will not be forgotten.
We are proud to be part of such a caring community and an incredible fire service family. During a time of loss, you reminded us that we never stand alone.
Please continue to keep Marks family, friends, and our entire department in your thoughts and prayers as we navigate the days ahead.
Gone but never forgotten. Always one of our own. ❤️🚒
