Audio ARC thanks to Net Galley

I love a good thriller and this one kept me turning the (audio) pages to find out what’s happening and who it would be. I would have loved some more character development. This book gave good prompts for visualizing the scenes and keeps the reader engaged. However it lacks a certain something that makes the book great. Still, an entertaining read and I’ll check out future books from this author.

eARC. While you’d think a book called “The Storm” would have a lot more gripping storm scenes, this is a book about relationships. The good, the bad, the ugly, the redemption. A dual timeline about friends and family, about secrets among them. While not life changing, this was a gripping novel and a quick, fun listen. 3.5 stars.
