UPDATE: *****REUNITED WITH FAMILY*****. This guy was walking around Maxwell Acres in Moundsville today to celebrate the 4th of July and tried to be a Wedding Crasher!! Thankfully the soon to be newlyweds kept him cool in the house while they were getting everything ready for their wedding. Congratulations to Mrs and Mr and thank you for holding him until we arrived. He is now at the Marshall County Animal Shelter. Please share so he can be reunited with his family. Thank You

We would like to give a great send-off to Dr. Jana Howe of the Tiffany Dlesk Spay/Neuter Clinic. Dr. Howe has been great to Our Humane Officers from giving information, advice and well being of animals, to just being there to listen when we have had a rough day. Dr. Jana Howe we truly thank you for listening, caring, and helping us and the many animals of the surrounding area. You are a class act and a great person. Good Luck on your next adventure!!! 🐶🐾🐱

UPDATE: We are happy to share that ONYX has been caught and is now relaxing at home with his family!!!! Thank You to everyone that helped us getting him; from giving information on sightings to walking around looking for him. A very big thank you to the property owners on Oak Hill that let us put live traps on their property and watched for Onyx daily. McMechen Residents: We are asking for your help in locating a boxer named "Onyx". He slipped away from his Owners a few days ago and was spotted in McMechen down by the Riverpark area. We do have live traps out to hopefully catch him and return him to his family. If you see him or if you see one of our traps please do not approach due to him being scared/skittish. Below is a picture of Onyx and at the time of him getting away from his family he was wearing the blue collar with white stars. If he is in a trap that you come across please call the Marshall County Sheriff Department and they will dispatch us to get him. Please help us and his family get Onyx home. Thank You.
