On May 18, 2026, we had the honor of celebrating the dedication of Courtney's Home for Hope, a place that will provide safety, healing, and hope for survivors of abuse and violence as they rebuild their lives.
We are incredibly grateful to everyone who joined us for this special occasion. Your presence was a powerful reminder of what can happen when a community comes together to support those in need and stand alongside survivors on their journey toward healing.
A very special thank you goes to the Potts family. We are deeply honored that you have entrusted Coastal Center for Hope & Healing with carrying forward Courtney's legacy. Through your extraordinary generosity and compassion, Courtney's Home for Hope will provide a safe and supportive space for countless individuals and families during some of the most difficult times in their lives.
While Courtney was taken far too soon, her legacy will continue to live on through every survivor who finds safety, every family who finds stability, and every life that is transformed within these walls.
We would also like to extend our sincere appreciation to Abundant Life Miracle Center for graciously opening your doors and allowing us to gather in your space for this meaningful celebration. Thank you to Pastor Hazel Royal for not only welcoming us but for offering a beautiful blessing over Courtney's Home for Hope and all who will find refuge there in the years to come. We are also grateful to Krishanda Jones for her support, partnership and delicious desserts that helped make this day so special.
To our incredible Coastal Center for Hope & Healing staff and board members, thank you for the countless hours of planning, preparation, and hard work that went into making this event so meaningful. From the smallest details to the biggest moments, your dedication ensured that everything came together beautifully. We are blessed to have a team that pours so much heart into our mission and into serving survivors every day.
Thank you, Potts family, for turning loss into hope and for creating a lasting impact that will serve our community for generations. And thank you to all of our community partners, supporters, and friends who continue to believe in the power of hope, healing, and second chances.
