The countdown to an amazing school year is on, and we can't wait to welcome our Tigers back!
Is your child:
🐾 Turning 5 years old by August 31 and ready for Kindergarten?
🐾 New to Trent Park Elementary?
🐾 Returning to TPE but your family has moved to a new address?
Now is the time to register or update your information!
🚍 Don't wait! Delays in registration or address changes could impact transportation at the start of the school year.
When registering, be sure to have:
🐅 Proof of residence
🐅 Child's birth certificate
🐅 Parent/guardian photo ID
🐅 Immunization records
🐅 NC Health Assessment (Kindergarten & first-time public school students)
🐅 Any applicable custody or homeschool documentation

🎉 Today is a BIG day! 🎉

Please help us give a huge Tiger welcome and shoutout to Mrs. Greene as she begins Beginning Teacher Orientation!

Over the next three days, she’ll join beginning teachers from across Craven County to learn all about Craven County Schools, build connections, and prepare for an amazing school year ahead.

We are so proud of you, Mrs. Greene, and we’re excited to have you as part of the Tiger Team! 🐾🧡🖤

Last week our Instructional Leadership Team met for Summer Leadership. We spent the day getting to know each other, reviewing data and creating plans for the 2026-2027 school year!

Special thanks Tryon Palace for the use of their space for the meeting!

Minimum Qualifications:
✔ High school diploma
✔ 48 semester hours of college credit (excluding cosmetology, nursing, and religion)
✔ Current CDL with school bus certification or willingness to obtain one within 90 days of employment

Last call! This week is the last week to request bus transportation for the first week of school! After this week, transportation may be delayed up to 10 school days from your child's first day of school.

Please check in with your friends and neighbors to make sure they have made their requests! If you're unsure if you've requested transportation, feel free to reach out to us at school or to Ms. Scott on ClassDojo!
