Customers of Tomlinson PSD affected by the outage on April 22, 2026 in Downtown Newell and Route 2 South, we are pleased to announce the boil water order has been lifted. It is no longer necessary to boil water. We apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused.

Water Service Announcement

Customers in Newell and Route 2 will experience a water service interruption beginning at 9:00 AM on Wednesday, April 22, 2026. The outage is expected to last until 6:00 pm for construction upgrades. Once water service is restored only those customers affected by the outage will be under a boil water order until further notice. Please visit tomlinsonpsd.com for more information.

What should I do?

DO NOT CONSUME THE WATER WITHOUT BOILING IT FIRST. Bring all water to a boil, let it boil for one minute, and let cool before using, or use bottled water. Boiled or bottled water should be used for drinking, making ice, brushing teeth, washing dishes, bathing, and food preparation until further notice. Boiling water kills bacteria and other organisms in the water.

What happened? What is being done? Planned outage to replace a fire hydrant. Boil Order Lift will be posted on tomlinsonpsd.com and Facebook.com/TPSDWV after test results are received. Also, check the Website tomlinsonpsd.com for information.

TOMLINSON PUBLIC SERVICE DISTRICT UTILITY ISSUED BOIL WATER NOTICE

Customers on Lawnview and Scenery Drive and Tomlinson Run State Park may experience a water service outage beginning at or after 9:00 AM on Friday April 17, 2026, due to a water main break. Crews will be working throughout the day to repair the break . Only if an outage occurs and once water service is restored, only those customers affected by the outage will be under a boil water order until further notice. Customers on the even side of Deer Run Ct will experience a water service outage beginning at or after 11:00 AM on Thursday April 2, 2026, due to a water main break. Crews will be working throughout the dayto repair the break and restore water service.
