Pasco County Development Services

Pasco County Development Services Development Services Branch, Pasco County Government.

Building Construction Services protects the quality of life in Pasco County by enforcing building and land use ordinances, floodplain regulations, issuing building permits, inspecting structures under construction. The Planning and Development Department guides the County's current and future physical growth through the establishment of a long-term vision, and the implementation and on-going enfor

cement of its existing development regulations and reviewing proposals for large-scale development. Code Compliance enforces many of the County's codes, which contribute to Pasco's quality of life and property values. Our team also attends neighborhood meetings and works with other agencies to educate our community about the importance of properly maintaining properties or reporting issues that need addressed. The Office of Economic Growth is responsible for working with existing and new businesses to encourage business growth, job growth and prosperity. In addition, staff focuses on a variety of efforts such as ensuring we have a trained workforce and attracting high wage jobs, while diversifying the County’s economic tax base. We, along with the rest of Pasco County government, are striving to ensure that Pasco County is the Premier County for balanced economic growth, environmental sustainability and first- class service.

As 's Metropolitan Planning Organization works to make our roads safer, we need your help too.
RIDERS:Always wear a helmet, stay alert and remember… visibility is key! Two wheels are harder to see but equally important to protect.
DRIVERS: Always give motorcycles plenty of space, avoid following too closely and check carefully before entering intersections or changing lanes.
Show your support – ride your motorcycle or scooter on Ride to Work Day and play a role in reducing congestion.

It’s Secure Your Load Awareness Day,
Unsecured items on trucks and trailers cause crashes, injuries and roadway hazards every year. Protect yourself, your passengers and everyone on the road by making load security part of every trip.
Before you drive, remember to:
1. Tie down your load with strong rope, netting, or straps.
2. Secure large items directly to your vehicle or trailer.
3. Cover the entire load with a sturdy tarp or cargo net.
4. Avoid overloading your vehicle—if it’s too much, split the haul.
5. Double check everything before hitting the road to ensure nothing can shift or fall.
Pasco’s Metropolitan Planning Organization wants you to help keep our roads safe – one secured load at a time. Visit secureyourload.com
