FYI the local polling place for New Rockford and Sheyenne is the Brown Memorial 

Today, June 9, is Primary Election Day! If you are at least 18 years old, a U.S. citizen, and have been a North Dakota resident for at least 30 days, you can exercise your right to vote. Find your polling location information at vote.nd.gov/myvotinginfo

Remember to bring one of the following forms of ID with you to the polls:
-ND driver’s license
-ND non-driver ID
-Tribal ID or letter
-Long term care certificate

North Dakota born author Susan D. Levitte will have a booth at the New Rockford Summer Market on June 25th from 4-8pm. Susan’s Amazon best-selling debut novel, Secrets in the Woods, transports readers back to the devastating Wisconsin fires of 1871. The historical fiction novel features a nod to her great-grand-aunt, who was born in New Rockford in 1900 and traveled the Midwest as a newspaperwoman before she sadly passed from TB in San Haven Sanatorium in Dunseith. Whether you’re a history buff or a fan of historical fiction, please stop by and celebrate this local connection. She will have copies available for purchase.
