✨ A successful opening day for Fashion Philippines New York 2026! 🇵🇭🗽

Yesterday, industry professionals, buyers, media, and fashion enthusiasts gathered at the Accessories Council Trade Showspace for the official launch of Fashion Philippines New York 2026, celebrating the creativity, craftsmanship, and innovation of Filipino fashion brands making their mark in the U.S. market.

A highlight of the opening was the panel discussion, “ Designing Success: Filipino Brands Making Their Mark in America,” featuring Rafe New York and Binata Millinery | Headwear who shared their journeys, lessons learned, and insights on building global brands, navigating the U.S. market, and showcasing Filipino creativity on the international stage.

The showcase continues through Friday, September 18, featuring a curated collection of fashion, accessories, footwear, bags, and lifestyle products from Philippine fashion brands.

Last Friday, PTIC New York hosted its very first Friday Get-Together, a casual open-networking gathering that brought together professionals, entrepreneurs, innovators, and friends of the Philippines for an evening of meaningful exchanges and community building.

With no formal program and no presentations, the floor was open for everyone to share their stories, ventures, insights, and opportunities one by one, sparking conversations that flowed as freely as the refreshments. From investments and sustainability to entrepreneurship, wellness, education, and business collaborations, the room was filled with inspiring ideas and valuable connections.

A huge thank you to everyone who joined us and contributed to making this inaugural gathering such a success. We’re excited to continue building this community and creating more spaces where people, ideas, and opportunities can connect.

Trade Commissioner Argayoso recently reconnected with Mr. Christopher Reiter, Managing Partner for North America of renowned global Filipino brand Kenneth Cobonpue, who personally visited the Philippine Center along Fifth Avenue to see the current window display.

The Likhang Filipino Window Display, launched in May 2026, showcases the creativity and craftsmanship of Philippine makers in the heart of Manhattan.

During the visit, both revisited the possibility of featuring Kenneth Cobonpue pieces in the window display, which is an exciting opportunity to further elevate the brand’s visibility in New York while supporting the promotion of Philippine design and exports in 2027.

And with the “-ber” months just around the corner, something festive is already in the works for the next window display. 👀✨
