Catholic Guardian Services (CGS) offers important social services to people in need from the very beginning of life to our residents’ golden years:
•From maternity services for expectant young mothers to residential programs for seniors with disabilities;
•From family day care for working families in the Bronx to therapeutic foster boarding homes for mentally ill teens;
•From family counseling to
avoid foster care placements to adoption services for children in need of new and loving families; and
•From shelters for homeless women and their children to specialized congregate care programs for particularly troubled foster care youth. We are fortunate to be able to respond to the call to help so many in need. We do this in concert with our partners in the Archdiocese of New York, Catholic Charities, government contractors, fellow nonprofit organizations, and our many faithful supporters. Together, we reach thousands of New Yorkers in need on a daily basis. There is great need in this world, and CGS responds to some of those needs. We do so in a manner that respects the dignity of those we serve; and we offer them a message of hope.
