What happens when therapy meets you where you are?

For Tyler, healing from childhood trauma meant finding approaches that worked for his individual needs. When his sister mentioned she was getting support at The Jewish Board using EMDR therapy, he called the next day and got set up with his own therapist who adapted the process with Tyler so he could face difficult memories and emotions without feeling overwhelmed.

Sunshine, teamwork, and a lot of cheering!

About 40 young people from our Children’s Community Residences came together for their 2026 Summer Games at FDR State Park. They spent the day playing kickball, relay races, tug-of-war, board games, swimming, and more.

Events like these are made possible by our incredible staff, donors, and volunteers. Thank you to everyone for creating a day full of connection, fun, and summer memories!
